The Monro is a historic Grade II Georgian former merchants house, built in 1746 it retains many original features such as sash windows, fireplaces and ships wooden floors. It is named after the first scheduled passenger ship to New York in 1817.
It was the venue’s rich history that influenced our redesign of the pub’s menus and literature. Sourcing, adapting and reimagining old imagery and combining it with a fresh colour palette and classic typography.
The menus now streamline the food offering, complement the interior and add personality to the existing brand.
