We have created a brand and accompanying assets for tweed and bagmaker, Emma Cornes. The brand reflects Emma’s easy going personality and fuss free designs. The logo mark was designed with a visual style to help the bags become instantly recognisable and desirable. An important challenge was to produce a logo that was incredibly versatile, it is used across a wide range of packaging, print and online media as well as directly embossed into the leather bags.
Inspiration for the brand colour scheme came from the brand’s signature tweeds. When looking closely at the material we were pleasantly surprised at how colourful it was. We selected a deep earthy red which references the heathery landscape of rural Scotland – paying homage to the fabrics historic roots. We contrasted this with a vibrant bright blue to highlight the brand’s modern outlook and playful edge. This encapsulates the Emma Cornes range, refined and enduring, but not taking itself too seriously.
